The short answer
A prelude in a collection shaped over several years. Prelude in Op. 28, No. 11 is a prelude by Frédéric Chopin from the Romantic era. PlayPiano puts it at Level 7, an estimate.

History
PTNA's account places the beginnings of some Op. 28 preludes around 1836 and reports completion of the collection in Mallorca in 1838. The autograph collection was sent to Paris in January 1839, and publication followed in 1839. This is a history of the set, not evidence that every prelude began on the island.

What to listen for
Held upper sound precedes flowing replies
The opening high note and falling answer begin without lower accompaniment. Hear the entry into the later rocking support.
Related responses continue with changed detail
Flowing figures recur with a different continuation. Follow their longer direction through the grace-note decoration.
The flowing material returns more ornamented
The written recall expands its ornaments. Hear the familiar shape rather than making each small note a new phrase.
The opening returns into a longer close
Held opening sound and its falling answer reappear before the chordal ending. Listen to the simultaneous voices settle together.
How to practise it
Let the opening sing before the accompaniment enters
- Keep the solo opening clear
- Separate the small ornament from the supporting rhythm
How hard is it
A short flowing texture still needs supple coordination, singing tone and clear phrase direction.
