What to listen for
The opening mixes compact upper pairs with single-note turns, and both tracks take part in the quick motion. In the next window, repeated upper notes and pairs sit over a bass-and-chord foundation. Listen for the little chromatic neighbours without making each one an accent.
How to practise it
- In the second window, keep the upper pair at quarter position 9.25 sounding for its half-quarter duration while the lower bass arrives at 9.5. Practise the two onsets separately before combining them.
- Keep the upper repeated pitch 67 at quarter positions 8 and 8.5 even, then integrate the surrounding 66 and 67 neighbours. Release between attacks without exaggerating the movement.
