History
Both lines move at the opening, then the upper part leaves little spaces while the lower rhythm carries on. Listen to each line independently before joining them. The title Vite invites energy, but clarity comes first: a lively character does not require rushing past the rests.

How to practise it
- Keep the two opening lines equally even, then let the lower quarter notes continue through the upper rests.
- Bring out the changing upper idea without hiding the active lower line.
How hard is it
Opening eighth-note motion appears in both staves, followed by upper rests over a continuing lower quarter-note pattern. Controlling two simultaneous lines and clean gaps is central; no authenticated composer BPM appears.
