Questions
What is a triad?
A triad is a chord of three notes stacked in thirds: a root, the note a third above it and the note a fifth above it.
What is the difference between a major and a minor chord?
The third. A major chord has a major third above the root (four semitones) and a minor chord has a minor third (three semitones). The root and fifth are the same.
