Questions
How does the piano name a chord?
Hold three different notes that make a major or minor triad, in any order or octave, and it shows the root, the type and the inversion, for example D flat major, first inversion. Any other group of notes shows only the note names, never a guess.
Which computer keys play the piano?
The keys A to K play the white keys and W, E, T, Y and U play the black keys, starting from C. Z moves the piano down an octave and X moves it up. A MIDI keyboard also works in desktop Chrome and Edge.
