History
K. 15e is item 5 of the London notebook: the Neue Mozart-Ausgabe lists it as a keyboard piece in G major. Mozart wrote these short ideas while the family was in London in 1764; the newer Köchel catalogue connects much of the notebook with Leopold Mozart's serious illness there. This is a notebook component, not a movement from a finished published sonata cycle.

What to listen for
A chord opens into quick detail
Hear the opening upper chord give way to smaller notes while the lower quarter notes keep their larger steps.
Two lines descend together
In the next source measure, both registers descend through G, D and B toward a lower G. Listen to the joined shape without making each note a separate accent.
How to practise it
- Play the opening upper chord and its short reply alone, keeping the written arpeggiation and note values. Then add the two lower quarter notes and check that the reply fits between their attacks.
- Play the descending G, D, B, G in each register separately with the written eighth-note spacing. Combine the registers and check that each pair of attacks arrives together.
How hard is it
The opening combines a chord with quick upper detail over steady lower notes; the next source measure moves both lines down in eighths. That contrast supports an intermediate coordination estimate, not a grade inferred from Mozart’s age.
