History
K. 15ee is item 30 of the London notebook: the Neue Mozart-Ausgabe lists it as a keyboard piece in E-flat major. Mozart wrote these short ideas while the family was in London in 1764; the newer Köchel catalogue connects much of the notebook with Leopold Mozart's serious illness there. This is a notebook component, not a movement from a finished published sonata cycle.

What to listen for
Let the opening sound settle
The source opens with a long upper G and E-flat pair over a lower E-flat. Listen to the held sound before the more active descent follows.
Pairs move over a separate bass
The third source measure brings changing upper pairs while the bass moves through its own quarter notes. Keep the changing top sound clear without giving every supporting note equal weight.
How to practise it
- Play the opening held upper pair and lower E-flat for their full written values. Continue directly into the following descent, without shortening the held opening to prepare the moving notes.
- Play the changing upper pairs alone, then the lower quarter-note line alone. Combine them and check the exact arrivals of the upper changes against that lower pulse.
How hard is it
Long opening dyads lead to matched quarter-note descents, followed by upper chord pairs over a lower line. Controlled releases and balance between the two layers support a modest estimate without calling every miniature elementary.
