Also known as Mozart - Sonata in Bb K 570 Movement I; Piano Sonata in B-flat major, K. 570: I; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: K. 570, first movement (Allegro).
History
Mozart's B-flat-major sonata is catalogued in Vienna in 1789, with the dating range ending in February. The parent work has three movements. The catalogue's 1796 first-print entry includes violin accompaniment, so that publication date needs its version context: it does not turn our solo-piano file into a violin arrangement.

What to listen for
One small shape connects the movement
Listen for the opening arpeggio shape as related material continues through the movement.
The transition becomes more singing
Hear the transition’s more melodic character beside the compact opening arpeggio idea.
How to practise it
Keep the paired lines aligned without making them heavy.
- Practise the two layers together slowly, matching the half-note releases.
- Sing the two-measure contour, then play the octave-separated lines lightly.
- Connect the examined phrase at a comfortable tempo while keeping its stated layers and releases distinct.
How hard is it
Transparent Classical textures expose unevenness; melody, accompaniment and transitions need clear balance.
